Ms. Bailes is available to discuss schooling options with families and how Academic Language Therapy fits into their child's educational program.
It is through trying to secure help for her children that Ms. Bailes became aware of the powerful multisensory Orton-Gillingham based Sounds in Syllables program for dyslexia remediation. ASDEC’s training for Certified Academic Therapists requires a minimum of two years and 500 hours of supervised therapy. In addition to fulfilling ASDEC's rigorous training requirements, Ms. Bailes earned the distinction of Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT).
